Services

We are happy to provide Karate demonstrations for Fete's, Fairs and Fun-days - provided there is sufficient notice. In the past we have also given demonstrations to Scouts Troups and Schools. We do not charge a fee for this service however, we would ask for the opportunity to hand-out information about the Club, it's activities and training locations/times. Demonstrations typically involve a number of members of the Club and can include: demonstration of basic techniques; pair work; Kata; self-defense techniques; knife defense (involving senior Club members only); and competition sparring. On a number of occassions we have also involved members of the audience in simple exercises. We would work with you to create a demonstration to suit your audience and your needs.

We can arrange Private Lessons - typically in a Squash Court at your local leisure centre - for individuals or groups. Occasionally people feel reluctant to come along to a Club full of people they don't know. If you'd like to sample Karate on your own or amongst a group of friends then maybe this is the "starter" approach for you. In all instances we'd recommend a regular Club night: practicing with different people will teach you how to cope with attackers of all sizes; it also gives you an opportunity to improve along with everyone else and enjoy a joint learning experience; you'll also be able to measure your improvement against more experienced students.
