The Fudoshin Karate Club is affiliated to the Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Academy. The Academy is headed by Grand Master Hironori Ohtsuka II and the Chief Instructor of the Academy is Sensei Masafumi Shiomitsu (9th Dan Hanshi).

Affiliation to the Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Academy allows members of the Fudoshin Karate Club to train at other "Academy" Clubs around the UK and Europe and to enter Academy competitions and attend Academy courses. The Academy ensures consistency of techniques, methods and instruction across it's network of Clubs.

The certificates pictured below confirm the affiliation of the clubs in Farnborough and Basingstoke with the Academy (click on the image for a larger picture):

The club lead instructor, Rob Windsor (3rd Dan), leads training at Basingstoke on Mondays and at Farnborough on Wednesdays. At the request of Rob, Rushmoor Borough Council kindly initiated an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Record Bureau which confirmed that Rob has no recorded convictions. These checks are a requirement for any instructor within the Wado Academy and are repeated on a regular basis.
